Scotty Cantrell Obituary
Scotty Junior Cantrell, 56, of Fairmount, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1969, to Larry Junior Cantrell and Sarah Ruth Stone Cantrell. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Cantrell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rembert and Wanda Hendrix.
In addition to his parents, Scotty is survived by his loving wife, Rochelle Hendrix Cantrell; son, Joshua (Kirbi) Cantrell; daughter, Nicole (Chad) Reece; brother, Keith (Mandy) Cantrell; sisters-in-law, Jaronda (Jeff) Crook, Crystal (Kevin) Mulkey; grandchildren, Brayden Reece, Emersyn Reece, Kasen Cantrell, Sawyer Pass, Kaisley Cantrell, Whit Burger, Emma Orozco, and Caden Orozco. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM from New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Mulkey, Jeff Crook, Adam McReynolds, Jerry Nelson, Tate Cantrell, and Logan Cantrell.
