Daniel Hawkins Obituary
He attended Greenfield Central High School and Vincennes University. He loved playing hockey as a youth. Daniel was much loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
Daniel is survived by his father Dennis Hawkins; step-mother Karen Hawkins; siblings David (Michelle) Hawkins, Jennifer Hawkins, Katy Hawkins, Annie Hawkins; nephews and nieces Eli Hawkins, Lauren (Gino Tougas) Hawkins, Aliza (Chris Jenkins) Hawkins, Logan Burke, and great-nieces Maylee Tougas and Sadie Jenkins; and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Hawkins, who passed from Glioblastoma; and grandparents Dale Hawkins, James "Buster" Copeland, Charlotte (Hawkins) Copeland; Leonard and Hazel Barnard.
A private service will be held by the family, at a later date.
Those who wish to donate in memory of Daniel are encouraged to donate to https://www.gbmresearch.org a Glioblastoma Research Organization.
