Daniel Haworth, age 73, of Schaller, Iowa died November 2, 2025 at his home in Schaller.
A Time of Gathering will take place Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in SCHALLER. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Schaller is in charge of the arrangements.
Daniel Burdette Haworth was born July 27, 1952 in Cherokee, Iowa, to Burdette and LaVonne (Haden) Haworth.
Daniel grew up in Galva, Iowa, where he graduated from high school in 1970. After graduation, he attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake.
He was blessed with two daughters, Jennifer Mae and Lindsay Marie.
Daniel was an active member of the Schaller Jaycees.
A man who loved the outdoors, Daniel had a particular passion for fishing and farming. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Iowa State Cyclones and the New York Yankees. He also loved woodworking, watching cooking shows, and Old Westerns. One of his favorite pastimes was having conversations with his close friend, Keith Kenny. Above all, family was incredibly important to Daniel, and he cherished every moment spent with his grandkids.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters: Jennifer (Tim) Luebbers of Tribune, Kansas; and Lindsay (JT) Henson of Galva, Iowa; grandchildren: Brittany Luebbers of Colby, Kansas; Carson Luebbers of Galva, Iowa; Hayley (Adrian) Lawrence of Omaha, Nebraska; Dani Lawrence of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Cooper Henson of Galva, Iowa; sisters: Kathleen Allen of George, Iowa; Debra (Keith) Grieme of Galva, Iowa; Michelle (Joe) Johnson; Bill (Sandra) Allen; extended family and many friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Burdette and LaVonne Haworth; and his brother-in-law, Paul Allen.
