Daniel Alan Hohenstein, 54, of Owatonna, died Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Owatonna, Minnesota
He was born May 1, 1970, in St. Peter to Alan and Jane (Engel) Hohenstein. He graduated from St. Peter High School. He was blessed with five children, Emily, Jasmine, Dylan, Casey, and Caleb. Daniel loved to play all kinds of video games and loved nature and taking in all its beauty.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Engel of Wells; his children, Emily (and Ryan) Kauten of Altura, MN, Jasmine Hohenstein of Owatonna, and Dylan (and Margaret) Hohenstein of Spring Valley, Casey Herrmann, of California; siblings, Gretchen Hohenstein (and Victor Hollender) of New York, Matt Hohenstein of Texas, Jeff (and Amie) Hohenstein of Shokopee, Julie Brown of Buffalo; step-mother, BJ Hohenstein of Buffalo; companion, Amy Adelle Deines, of Owatonna, and her child, Armand Deines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Hohenstein, and son, Caleb Herrmann.
