Daniel M. Klahn

Daniel M. Klahn, age 70, of the Town of Greenbush, passed away on October 31, 2025.
He was born in Plymouth on November 14, 1954, son of the late Merlin and Marion (Webb) Klahn. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1972 and was a lifelong resident and proud farmer in the Town of Greenbush along with his wife, Beverly (Kulow) whom he married on May 3, 1980.
Dan dedicated his life to his family and his community, serving in many capacities. He was a member and usher for many years at St. Fridolin Catholic Church and later at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He served on the Town Board for the Town of Greenbush for many years, proudly served 41 years with the Greenbush Fire Dept. – 35 of those as Secretary and was honored to have 3 generations of his family serving with the Fire Dept. He also served as sexton for the Greenbush Cemetery for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, especially the time BSing in the back shed with the hunting group, playing cards, and most of all loved spending time with his family, especially being Papa to his grandchildren.
These last weeks have been extremely difficult, and his suffering is now over. He will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten!
Survivors include: His loving wife of 45 years, Beverly; Children: Becky Klahn and Joe (Heather) Klahn; Grandchildren: Kathryn (special friend, Sawyer) and William Schwartz and their father, James Schwartz, Brianna (special friend, Max), Camryn, and Dawson Klahn; Sisters: Sharon Leon (Brian Lang) and Diane (John) Stormoen; Parents-in-law, Gerald and Cathy Kulow; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Randy (Lynn) Kulow, Mike (Robyn) Kulow, Vicki (Ken) Haensgen, Karen (John) Brem, Jenny (Andy) Buttram, and Scott Kulow; As well as many nieces, nephews, neighbors, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Kaylin Jo Klahn.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025. Visitation will take place at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 2:00-5:00pm. Following the visitation, friends and family can gather at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake and the Funeral Mass will begin at 6:00pm. Father Subi Thomas will officiate, and he will be laid to rest at Greenbush Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Dan's name to Greenbush Fire Dept.
