Daniel M. Kniefel

Daniel M. Kniefel, age 72 of Lakeville, MN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday January 14, 2026. Dan was born on November 11,1953 in Owatonna, MN to Harlan and Bernice (nee; Keller) Kniefel. Dan was a 1972 graduate of Lakeville High School, after high school Dan went to work for Despatch Industries in Lakeville where he worked for 39 years before his retirement in 2012. He is preceded in death by his father Harlan, and mother Bernice and her husband Art Senart, sister, Cheryl Kniefel, and brother, Todd Kniefel. He is survived by his loving wife Kris of 44 years. His two sons Bill (Laura) and Ben (Alicia), and 4 grandchildren; Jack, Lucas, Blake and Brady. Siblings Jerry (Anita), Bob (Kay), Jim, Rod (Jodi), sister in-law, Jane Kniefel, and many other loving family and friends

Mass of Christian Burial Will be held 11:30 AM on Monday, February 2nd at the All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave. Lakeville, with a visitation starting at 10:30 at church. Interment, All Saints Cemetery at a later date.
