Sally Sue Smith

On January 25, 2026, Sally Smith entered the arms of her beloved Jesus. Her loving family is saddened greatly by her unexpected and sudden departure of natural causes, but rejoicing in her heavenly reunion with Paul, her husband of 50 years. Sally is survived by her four children and their spouses: Heather (Brian) Dawson, Holly (Jason) Speratos, Hilary (Brian) Moorlach, and Luke (Katy) Smith; her thirteen grandchildren: Torrey (Jonah) Ferguson, Jake Dawson, Leah (Alex) Workman, Zach Dawson, Anna Speratos, Max Speratos, Ben (Anna) Moorlach, Matt Moorlach, Adam Moorlach, Luke Moorlach, Charlie Smith, Nathan Smith, Isaac Smith, and an anxiously awaited great granddaughter, born January 28, 2026, Tovah Ferguson. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Todd and Annette Kylander and Scott and Kim Kilander, and Emily FitzRandolph; her sister, Kathy Kilander, numerous nephews and nieces, and a wonderful community of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Smith, and her parents Benjamin Kilander and Lois Kilander.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Lakeville. Details pending. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Trinity Evangelical Free Church
