Daniel Krofcheck Obituary
Dan was raised in Upper St. Clair and was a proud graduate of Upper St. Clair High School, Penn State University, and the Wharton School of Business.
Dan had a successful career in finance spanning 45 years and spent time between California and New York.
He was an avid Penn State football fan and lifelong season ticket holder. He also enjoyed cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams, playing golf and was a skilled pilot and took great pride in owning his own plane.
Dan was a son of the late Edwin A. and Kathryn R. Krofcheck; brother of Gary and John (Bertha) Krofcheck; uncle of Taylor (Jocelyn) Krofcheck, Drew (Mike) Larned, Mary Kathryn, Caroline, and Edwin Krofcheck; and great-uncle of Annie and Rory Larned and Lane Krofcheck.
Family and friends are welcome at Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, St. John XXIII Parish. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
