Daniel Frank Lachendro, 66 of Chatham Twp., Ohio passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025 at home surrounded by his family, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born November 14, 1958 in Berea, Ohio to Bernard and Carol (Slivka) Lachendro.

Dan lived most of his life in Medina County and was a 1977 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. He married Gina Conrad on August 31, 2003. Dan had worked at Organic Way, Lafayette Twp. Road Dept., and Bennett Tire in Lodi, later becoming a self-employed welder and fabricator. A gifted designer, he enjoyed building trucks, tractors, and many other machines from the ground up.

In addition to his wife, Gina, Dan is survived by his sons, Mark, Robert, and John (Karlie) Lachendro, and Andrew (Ashley) Barto; grandchildren, Trever, Amyah, Lucy, Ethan, Skylar, Calvin, Pierce, and Riley; mother, Carol Lachendro; sister, Judy (Ed) Nalepa; brothers, David (Debbie) and Steven (Elaina) Lachendro; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard and sister, Christine.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Lafayette Town Hall, 6776 Wedgewood Rd., Medina, OH 44256 (located just East of the intersection of Routes 42 and 162). A private burial was at Chatham Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Gina Lachendro to help with final expenses.
