Daniel Alan Lewis of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 92. He joins his wife of 53 years, Gloria Lewis, and is outlived by his daughters: Laurie Paul and Amy Skay, his grandchildren: Leah, Gabriel, Joseph, and Angelina, and as his great-granddaughter Gabriella.
Daniel was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked much of his life for the Defense Personnel Support Center in Philadelphia. He was an avid golfer and skilled bowler, having earned the novelty of a perfect 300-point game in his prime. Above all else, Daniel loved to sing and did so famously with the Hims of Praise for many years.
A visitation will be held on December 6th at 11 a.m. with a following memorial service at St. John's Church in Washington Township, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following charities, as Daniel was a dutiful supporter of all: the Wounded Warriors Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tiger Haven, or Tiger Creek (he really loved tigers).
