Daniel "Danny Mc" McDaniel

Daniel "Danny Mc" McDaniel, born in Atlanta on February 27, 1956, passed away peacefully in Hampton on October 11, 2025, at the age of 69. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his humor and kindness.
Danny Mc worked as a Senior Customer Service Agent for Delta Air Lines, where he brought his infectious enthusiasm and dedication to every interaction. His colleagues and customers alike appreciated his servant's heart and his unwavering willingness to go above and beyond to help others.
Outside of his work, Danny Mc had a zest for life that was evident in his many passions. A true car enthusiast, he took immense pride in his 1969 Chevrolet C10. Known affectionately as the "leftover king," Danny Mc had a culinary flair that brought joy to family gatherings. His love for telling dad jokes never failed to bring laughter to those around him.
A devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldawgs and the Atlanta Braves, Danny Mc cheered his teams on with fervor. At home, he cherished the companionship of his beloved dogs, Abby and Kirby, who were constant sources of comfort and joy.
Danny Mc was preceded in death by his parents, Janie and William McDaniel, and his daughter, Tiffany McDaniel. He is survived by his loving wife Cindy, his children: Jennifer Taylor (Eric Sharp), Brandon Gauvin, and Daniel McDaniel Jr. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Glenda Presley; his brother-in-law, Keith Presley (Denise); his nephew, Connor Presley (MaryBeth); and his great-nephew, Oliver Presley.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Roye officiating. The family requests those attending the memorial service wear their UGA shirts or red and black to honor Danny Mc. A visitation will held two hours prior to the service at Parrott Funeral Home.
Danny Mc's legacy of love, laughter, and service will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish their memories of his generous heart and infectious laughter.
