Bryan Lee McDaniel, age 64 of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Bryan was born on June 16, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of George R. and Phyllis A. (Anderson) McDaniel. Bryan is preceded in death by his parents.
Bryan was the second oldest of five boys. He is survived by his older brother: Bobby (wife Lyla) McDaniel of Greenville, South Carolina, his younger brothers: Brad McDaniel of Fresno, California, Bruce Pettis of Beech Grove, Indiana and Barry (wife Tina) Pettis of Indianapolis.
Two daughters: Ashley Waterman of Greenfield, IN and Krystal (husband Vernon) Price of Anderson, IN
Grandchildren: Nicholas and Aniya who belong to Ashley, as well as Jadon and Sahvannah who belong to Krystal.
Special additional grandchildren: Brandon, James and Ianna.
Many nieces, nephews, other family members and relatives survive.
Bryan is preceded in death by one nephew: Zach Pettis.
Bryan grew up in Indianapolis on the South Side.
Throughout his life he enjoyed many things including playing pool and pool tournaments, which he was very good at. He enjoyed Raiders football, collecting Hot Wheels cars and driving fast.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township Funeral Center, located at 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221.
Bryan’s funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM. Bryan’s brother Bruce Pettis will officiate the service.
Everyone is asked to come together to celebrate Bryan's life.
In accordance with Bryan’s wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded after the services.
Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township has charge of arrangements.
