Daniel McGovern

Daniel Robert McGovern ("Dan"), age 59, of Attleboro MA passed away on November

27, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born on July

18, 1966 in Attleboro MA to Robert McGovern and Jacqueline Vose.

Daniel lived a life filled with humor, "one-liners," humbleness, and loved his family more

than anything in this world. During Dan's life he loved spending time golfing, cooking,

vacationing, and most of all spending time with his friends and his family. Dan worked

at Fortifiber (which is now known as Polyfiber) for over 25 years.

Daniel is survived by his wife Lyn McGovern, his children Tyler McGovern and his wife

Natalie, and Emily McGovern. Survived by his siblings Christine Chapman and her

husband James, Dennis McGovern and his wife Lisa, and James McGovern and

companion Marie, as well as all of his many nieces and nephews. Also, survived by his

stepsiblings Julie Mador, Peter Ferragi Jr., Michael Ferragi and his wife Traci, and

Jeffery Ferragi. Additionally, he is survived by his in-laws James and Catherine St.

Germain and brother in-law James St. Germain Jr. and his companion Michelle.

He is predeceased by Gail McGovern ("Granny Gail") and Lester Vose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Duffy-Poule Funeral & Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street Attleboro, MA, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, December 5, 2025.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at St. John the

Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA at 1:00PM. Interment will be private.

The family wishes to express their utmost gratitude and love to his niece Lyndsey

Chapman for her help and nursing support for Dan.
