Beloved husband of Jane (nee Baal) for 38 years; Loving father of Erin (Brian) Stokes; Proud Poppy of Shannon, Caitlin, and Maggie Jane Stokes; Dear brother of P.J. (late Donna and late Patricia), the late Jim (late Sharon), Sean (Millie, late Joan), the late Tommy "Buddy", the late Maureen (late Al, Ret. CPD) McGuire, the late Kevin, and Thomasina Volkman; Cherished brother-in-law to the late Robert (Patricia) Baal; Devoted son of the late Thomas, Co. Leitrim, Ireland, and the late Lillian Co. Kerry, Ireland; Fond uncle, great- uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Visitation Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday, March 13, 2025 9:30 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St. Chicago Ridge to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave. Orland Park for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. Dan was Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He will be Missed Greatly at Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club. He was very involved in the HP Community and organized the first St. Patrick's Day Parade at HP. There will be many toasts on Monday in his honor. Many Prayers for Jane and All the Family.
