Daniel was one of a kind—a man who cared deeply for the people he loved and would give his all, no matter what he had going on in his own life. He was a protector through and through, always the first to answer when someone called, and the kind of person you could count on in both the best and hardest of times.
He had a deep love for his children, who were truly the light of his life. As much as he was strong, dependable, and loving, he also had a stubborn streak and a mischievous sense of humor—he could be a real jackass at times, and we loved him all the more for it. That blend of loyalty, love, and a little bit of mischief made him unforgettable.
