DELPHOS – Daniel L. Morris, 70, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born May 28, 1955, in Lima to Burl and Marietta (Ellerbrock) Morris. Burl preceded him in death; Marietta survives in Delphos. On September 3, 1977, he married Rose A. (Seeling) Morris, who was not just his wife but his best friend, who survives in Delphos.
Dan is also survived by his sons, Eric D. (Stacy) Morris of Findlay and Weston M. (Sarah) Morris of Liberty Township near Cincinnati; grandchildren, Elise, Troy and Zelda; siblings, Steve Morris of Palmetto, FL; Roger (Tricia) Morris, Regina (Larry) McClure, Larry (Melanie) Morris all of Delphos, and Ron (Cyndee) Morris of Lima; a sister; and a brother-in-law, Bob Lehew.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Roselyn Lehew.
Dan was retired from Hickey Morris Insurance Agency. He was a charter member of Delphos Optimist and Eagles Aerie 471. He was involved in starting the youth soccer program in Delphos. Dan loved dancing, laughing and following the Bengals.
Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
