Daniel James Mulder, age 66, of Sand Lake, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at home under the care of Corewell Health Hospice. The son of Harold Jay & Barbara Ann (Garrison) Mulder, Dan was born on December 14, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dan was a truck driver for Sara Lee and Reith Riley for 26 years and was a proclaimed Christian. He was a master of all trades, known for his ability to fix anything that came his way. His garage was his sanctuary, a meticulous organized space that where he had brought countless projects to life. You could often find his son working alongside him, learning his knowledge and passion for building and repairing anything with a motor, as well as carpentry.
His skills knew no bounds. He had a great sense of humor, a sarcastic wit, and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He cherished time with his grandkids, watching them play in the yard or the garage. He also had a special connection with dogs (having raised Great Danes with his son Jacob) and loved playing pool with friends in the APA league.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Danielle Bernard; and his sister, Cheryl Francis. Surviving are his son, Jacob & Kelly Mulder; and two grandchildren, Ava and Carson Mulder.
