Donald Mulder, age 89, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his first wife, MaryLou Mulder; second wife, Mildred Mulder; daughter, Cindy Vander Molen; stepdaughter, Robin Winterburn; step grandson, Derek Winterburn; brother, Alvin Mulder.
He is survived by his children, James and Norma Mulder, Kristy and James DeVree; son-in-law Dale and Lori Vander Molen; grandchildren, Sara and Ryan Knight, Jonathan and Beka Mulder, Katie and Ryan Schut, Erin Mulder, Lindsay and Adam Tozer, Andrew and Becki Mulder, Kayla DeVree, Dylan DeVree and fiancée Anna Linse; 14 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Jeff and Linda Smit, Shelly Bricker, Mitchell and Patty Smit; step grandchildren, Joshua and Kate Smit, Melissa and Andrew Seaford, Ethan and Annastasia Smit, Jamie and Jamison Miller, Samantha and Chris Thompson, Micah Winterburn, Jordan and Kayli Bricker, Lucas Bricker; 14 step great grandchildren; sister, Marie and Bernie Schuitema; sister-in-law, Phyllis Mulder; special friend, Jackie Bogema. Also surviving are a loving family of nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Don loved the Lord, his family, and fishing.
Funeral services for Don will be held on Monday, October 6, at 2:00 P.M. at VanderLaan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, from 2 to 4 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guiding Light or Love Your Neighbor.
