Daniel F. O'Hara Jr., 60, of Jackson Township, PA passed away on July 29th, 2025. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan O'Hara of Cambridge, MA; Two sisters, Judith O. (Guy) Shorter, Cumberland, RI and Maura A. O'Hara, Providence, RI; Step mother, Lisa Ciavola, Jackson Township PA; Ex Wife Kerri A. O'Hara (Andrew Haliscak), Jackson Township, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Mary B. O'Hara. Dan made his living working with his hands, constantly enamored in woodworking or his latest home improvement project. Sundays were reserved for the New York Giants. He, like his father, was a passionate fan, and even though his daughter Morgan found herself a Patriots fan, they still managed to enjoy some playful banter. Dan's second favorite thing to do in front of the TV, was watching movies, a love that could be measured by the vast size of his DVD collection. Though he did not have the greenest of thumbs, Dan found pride tending to his garden as he was an avid admirer of flowers. He was always particularly fond of Bleeding Hearts. If you were with Dan, smiles weren't hard to find, his sarcasm and wit charmed many. He will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 with calling hours one hour prior at the Lakeview Mennonite Church, 1323 Lakeview Rd (SR 1019), Susquehanna, PA 18847.
