BOARDMAN — Daniel W. Presley, 78, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025.
He was born April 12, 1947, in Akron, a son of McDowell Presley and the former Doris LeMaster.
Daniel graduated from Stow High School and is a United States Army veteran. He worked as a railroad engineer with the CSX Corporation.
Daniel was an avid reader. He pursued his artistic interests through photography, dedicating countless hours to capturing and editing life’s moments, as well as drawing. He took great pride in wrestling. He participated in wrestling throughout high school and also while serving in the Army during his stationing in Germany.
Daniel is survived by his son, Brian Presley of San Francisco, California; sisters, Donna Presley and Sandy Burton of Akron; and brothers, David Presley and Luke Frost of Akron.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his stepfather, Sam Frost.
Funeral services will be private.
