Daniel Paul Rabalais

Funeral Services for Daniel Paul "Boy" Rabalais of Marksville will begin at 12:00pm on Monday, October 10th, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport with Rev. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. Burial & military honors will follow at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
Daniel "Boy" Rabalais, age 77, passed on Thursday, October 6th, 2022. Mr. Daniel served honorably in the US Army.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Sherri Dupuy, Shannon Rabalais, Derin Rabalais, all of Marksville, Daniel Rabalais (Lori) of Hineston, LA, and Krista Ducote (Jarrod) of Simmesport; sister, Olanton Dalgo of Cottonport; brothers, Ted Bordelon of Eunice and Gary Bordelon of Cottonport. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as "Pop", Gabrielle Setliff, Montanna Dupuy, Natalie Rabalais, Kathryn Rabalais, Jacob Rabalais, Jon Ducote, and Maddox Ducote; and great-grandchild, Cameron Setliff; and spouse, Virgie Rabalais.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Shannon Rabalais, Derin Rabalais, Daniel Rabalais, Jarrod Ducote, Ryan Walker, and Gary Bordelon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Rabalais, Jon Ducote, Maddox Ducote, and Cameron Setliff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olymph Rabalais and Constance Guillot Bordelon.
Visitation will begin at 8:30am until 12:00pm on Monday, October 10th, 2022 at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
