Daniel, age 60, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. He was a longtime resident of both Ponchatoula and Albany, LA. Daniel loved his Saints, and LSU teams, Hornets Basketball; and pretty much all sports on TV. He was a Missionary for Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in Arcadia, California, a Church Elder, and volunteered work for Options, Inc. Daniel was a gentle, kind, and affectionate man who loved his family above everyone else and truly appreciated Johnny Hughes, his friend and care giver. He loved his church family. LaWanda and LaKendra who gave such loving care was always so appreciated by him and the family. His smile would light up any room, and he enjoyed talking about his mission; he always proved to us he was truly his nickname, "Dan Dan The Miracle Man". Daniel was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Florence Crater Rendine; sisters, Jennifer Suzanne Smith and Rebecca Sarah Nelson.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Francis Daniel Rendine; brother, Francis Michael Rendine.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to join the Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Holly Gardens Cemetery starting at 12:00 p.m.
