Daniel Vazquez Seguinot "Danny" of Keeling, Virginia passed away on April 13, 2024 in Reidsville, North Carolina at the age of 44.
He was born on August 9, 1979 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and was lovingly raised by Angel Vazquez Cruz and Maria Seguinot in San Sebastian, PR. He left Puerto Rico when he was 25 years old and shortly thereafter, he met his future wife June Rose in Houston, Texas through a friend. After their first date they proved inseparable, despite speaking different languages. June did not know that he was raised a witness but knew he was special. Daniel introduced June to the truth which she embraced immediately. June always said that Daniel brought her into the truth, but she was going to keep them there.
The Golden acres congregation in Pasadena, Texas adopted them immediately and cared for them. A Bible study was started immediately and within a few months they knew they wanted to spend their lifetime together and were married on March 5th, 2005 with the help of their congregation. Although they faced many challenges early in their marriage, they stood firm and were baptized together on November 24, 2007 in Rosenberg Texas, while June was pregnant with their first daughter.
Their marriage was tested from the start but they remained by each other's side and even in the beginning they felt like they had been married for decades. He was not perfect, and he would admit it, but he was their perfect. June has always felt privileged that Daniel trusted her enough from the beginning to share with him not only the best times but more importantly his weakest, most vulnerable moments. It has truly been a privilege to have raised 4 amazing children with Daniel. They have always felt Jehovah's Love supporting them.
It is impossible to explain Daniel. He had a larger-than-Life personality, he was beyond loving, spontaneous, and always ready to help others. He Loved spending time in nature with his family, music, and photography. He brought fun and humor wherever he went. But most of all, his family was his life and was not shy about sharing that with others. Jehovah knows the depth of love and attachment that his family has and always will have for him.
Danny is survived by his wife, June Rose Vazquez, his daughters Aliah and Alana Vazquez, His sons Rio and Tiago Vazquez. His parents Angel Vazquez Cruz and Maria Seguinot, his sister Angela Vazquez, his brother Angel Vazquez.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (118 Jenny Lane, Danville, VA) on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 4:00 P.M.
