David Stanley Shuttleworth, age 91, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully Friday November 15, 2024, at NHC Health Care, Garden City, SC.
Formerly of North Augusta, SC, David was born in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late David Shuttleworth and Gertrude (Phillips) Shuttleworth.
A member of St. Michael Catholic Church, David was a proud United States Army Veteran who served during the Koran War from 1954 to 1956. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed bowling, traveling, music and telling jokes. David loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play but he found his greatest joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Marion (Hayes) Shuttleworth, his grandson, Billy Shuttleworth and his brothers and sisters, Ralph, Janet, John and Candy.
Survivors include his son, David Shuttleworth and his wife, Alicia of Philadelphia, PA; daughters, Judy Walton and her husband Tom of Myrtle Beach, SC; Joan Tielsch and her husband Larry of Pittsburgh, PA; Mae Lynn Biggs and her husband James of Woodstock, GA; Mimi Lindsey of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Diane Smith and her husband David of Tampa, FL; Joy Cantilo and her husband Phillip of Alpharetta, GA; brother, Donald Shuttleworth of Pittsburgh, PA; 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
