Daniel L. Smith, 68, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday September 10, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 22, 1955 in Somerville, MA, a son of the late Dorothy Bergin. He had been a resident of Derry for over 20 years, formerly living in Manchester, NH.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Wirtz; his sons, Robert Moses, Joseph Moses, Adam Moses, Christopher Moses, and Brian Moses; his eight grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, Molly, Lilly, Adam Jr., Kayla, Andrew, and Alexis. He was predeceased by his wife Josephine (Szymielewicz) Smith.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 1 - 3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. To send a condolence please visit www.peabodyfuneralhome.com

I worked with Dan for a few years and enjoyed talking to him. He was a sweet guy always willing to help. He will be greatly missed

I worked with Dan for over a year. He had a kind heart, was always willing to help, listen, and I always loved talking to him. I remember talking about music with him and talking about concerts I've been to and events he had experienced. You will truly be missed, Dan.
