Daniel Paul Stoup, 63, Edgewater, joined his beloved parents in the house of the Lord on August 20, 2022 while scuba diving off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale. Danny was born April 30, 1959, in Lancaster, PA. He was a 1997 graduate of the University of Florida and worked as a physical therapist. He loved fishing, hunting and the beach, as well as landscaping and physical health. Danny was also an avid sports fan. Survivors include five brothers, James, Joel, Terrence, David and Mark Stoup; one sister, Joan Fussell, as well as ten nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen M. Stoup in 2014, and his father, Daniel Patrick Stoup in 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, October 8, 2022, at St. Gerard Mission Church, 3171 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater. Donations in his memory can be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul via St. Gerard Mission Church.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Dan was also a great help at the church food bank. We will miss him and pray for him.
