Ft. Wright – Daniel C. Thompson, 62 years of age, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his late father, C. Ray Thompson and his mother, Pauline (Niemann) Thompson. Left to cherish Dan's memory is his mother, Pauline Thompson-Goddard; his loving wife of 40 years, Kateri "Kitty" (Underhill) Thompson; his son, Evan Thompson; his sister, Amy Stenta-Gardner; his brother, J. Fred Thompson (Peggy) and several nieces and nephews. Dan was an avid golfer, he assisted the Covington Catholic Golf Club, and was a member of Perry Park Golf Club. Stith Funeral Home is assisting the family. There will be no public funeral services, as the family has chosen a more private setting. Those wishing to memorialize Dan, his family requests that those memorials take the form of Donations to the Mary Rose Mission, 272 Main Street, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Online memories and condolences may be left for the family at stithfuneralhomes.com.
