Daniel Mark van den Berg, age 50 of Cottondale, passed away December 18, 2024 at his home.
Daniel was a caring husband to Donna for 20 years and an exceptionally devoted father to Nikolas. He owned and operated his business for over 30 years. His knowledge of plants and attention to detail made his business stand out. He saw each and every customer as a friend and a family member. Being outside in nature was his favorite thing. He loved having conversations with people. This is what most will remember about him. He had immense kindness never hesitating to lend a helping hand whether person or animal. His smile was genuine and his laughs contagious. He will be missed beyond imagination. Daniel is survived by his wife and son, and he leaves behind his beloved pets Kiwi and Callie.
Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
