Daniel Eugene Van Leuven of St. Charles, MO passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born on May 26, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to the late Daniel and Angela Van Leuven (nee: Varvera). He had reached the age of 85 years.
He was the loving father of Dan, Gina, and John. He loved spending time boating on the Mississippi River, and swimming at the YMCA. Dan spent much of his younger years dancing throughout the many dance halls of St. Louis. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his only brother, Richard before his passing.
Those whom will remain grateful for having shared in his life are his children, Dan (Tracey) Van Leuven, Gina (Jerry) Jackomis, and John (Amy) Van Leuven; his cherished grandchildren, Charles, Danielle, Audrey, and Alex Van Leuven. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Richard. He was a dear father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025 immediately followed by a 3:00pm Celebration of Life service at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304.
