Daniel M. Washburn "The Weasel" also "The Unofficial Mayor of Susquehanna," 76, of Windsor, NY went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025. He is the son of the late Harold and Marion Washburn. He was also predeceased by his sister, Reta Whitman; a brother, Kenny Washburn; and a niece, Charlotte Monta.
Danny is survived by his brothers, James Washburn and Thomas Washburn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family members.
Danny was an avid fan of dirt track racing at Penn Can and Five Mile Point, Car Shows, and junking. He worked for Walkers Disposal, Susquehanna, PA. Danny made friends easily, helping when he could, and always leaving smiles in his wake. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Brookdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Please consider memorial contributions to Penn Can Speedway, PA Hwy 171, Susquehanna, PA 18847.
