Of Wake Forest, NC, formerly of Buffalo, NY, age 72; beloved husband of Mary Stephanie (nee Smith) Watkins; devoted father of Danny Wright, Brandi Watkins, Brendan Jackson, and Nina Watkins; loving step-father of Eric Smith and Earron Smith; cherished step-grandfather of eight grandchildren; dearest brother of Sherbadean Stewart, Nona Harris, twin brother Donald (Barbara) Watkins Sr., Michael (VaTasha) Walkins, and Denise (L. Nathan) Hare; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will be present Friday from 6-9 PM and Saturday from 11 AM - 12 PM at the (Delaware Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1132 Delaware Ave. (near W. Ferry St.), where a Funeral Service will immediately follow Saturday at 12 PM. Friends invited. Interment held privately. Daniel was a retired Police Officer with the Buffalo Police Department with more than 30 years of dedication. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com
