Daniel A. Weeden, 80, of Camden NY passed away September 17, 2022. He was born February 12, 1942. Dan was predeceased by his wife Amelia Rodriguez Weeden, twin brother David Weeden, sister Gale Kunasz, and his parents Robert and Irene Weeden.
He is survived by his brothers and sister and their families: Robert Weeden; Terry Weeden; Paul and Ann Weeden; Donald and Verna Weeden; Sally and William Lindquist; and several nieces and nephews.
Dan leaves behind his four children and their families: Rodney and Angela Weeden and their children Cambria and Casen; Annette and Ivo Nedic and her children Brian and Shane; Audrey and Mike Lappin and her children Ashley, Kyle, and Jake; Angi and Kevin Kirk and their children Randy, Alyse and Kevin Jr; and several great grandchildren.
Dan was a proud man of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. He and Amelia Rodriguez met at Union Springs Academy. On October 1, 1961 they married, and settled in Camden NY. They were happily married for 58 years and raised their four children.
He worked at Harden's Furniture for several years and was a foreman at HP Hood for 31 years where he retired. He had many hobbies such as scuba diving, playing the guitar, singing, genealogy, furniture upholstery, making syrup, hunting, fishing, and being part of the crimson chords. He was very proud of his antique bottle collection, many of which he found diving throughout Central NY.
Dan will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. He went to his rest awaiting the great resurrection where he will see his savior face-to-face and be reunited with family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to join us at the funeral home for Dan's calling hours on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main St., Camden, NY 13316. The Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in McConnellsville Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Amelia.
A reception will follow at the Taberg American Legion Pavilion, 9275 Main St., Taberg NY 13471
