Daniel Robert "Boone" Welch

Daniel "Boone" Robert Welch, age 57, peacefully entered into his eternal home in paradise on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Boone was born on February 27, 1968, to Jerry Welch and Laura Walrath Welch. He had made his home in Haywood County and was a 1986 graduate of Pisgah High School. Boone had been employed in the construction industry as a concrete finisher. He will forever be remembered as a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan! Boone also enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and Country music.

He loved his family deeply, and he also held a special place in his heart for his fur baby, "Dallas."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolly and Julius Welch; a brother, Junior Welch; and his mother-in-law, Ruby S. Green.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Mary Helen Green Welch; a son, Daniel Allen Welch; a sister, Jamie McGrenra; a brother; a sister-in-law, Melody Dill (Charles), and also nieces and nephews.

The Welch family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to Four Seasons Hospice for their care and kindness.

To honor his request, no formal service will be held.
