Daniel Wolt, 55, passed away on December 23, 2021. Preceded in death by his father Hansi Wolt. Survived by Cindy Wolt and his four children, Eden Rachel, Ariela Mina, Talya Tzipporah, and Yosef Levi; mother, Judith Wolt; brother, Ethan Wolt; nephew, Adam Wolt; the entire Weprin clan, the Redners, the Zenwindows family and many other cousins and amazing friends. Dan Wolt was "the man" a remarkable human being who literally would never hurt a fly. Dan the Man was so many things, a larger-than-life character in our story. He was a lover of movies, could quote any line from The Godfather, a NY Yankees fan, lover of Federici's pizza, beef sticks, Rye bread and his mother's famous egg salad and Hungarian dip. Dan had a special relationship with all animals (specifically his two dogs Annie and Oliver) he also was the one who secretly fed the unhoused animal population in New Albany much to the chagrin of families and neighbors. Always in a comfortable fabric, in black or white, Dan Wolt was a fashion forward luxury brand kind of guy. He was secure in his clothing choices even when the choices bordered on being too relaxed. When flip flops weren't appropriate, he would wear them anyway, his crazy unique glasses always completed his look only Dan could pull off this avant-garde style. and he did it with such perfection. Dan was the proudest of Jews, he wore his Magen David necklace at all times, even when the silver chain broke, he would use a piece of floss as a replacement to make sure he would never miss a day. His pride in Judaism showed not only around his neck but in the manner, he treated everyone with kindness and love. Dans proudest accomplishment in life was being a loving son, a supportive brother and the best father and friend to his children. His legacy continues in their good deeds, laughter and unique personalities, all of which he strongly influenced. With his big heart, gentle soul and sincere ability to retain friendships, Dan has left an indelible mark on so many. Dan was one in a million, a true mensch, he would sacrifice everything for his family and friends and only always wanted the best for everyone. May we all remember Dan's lessons, to act with kindness and integrity, laugh and love to your fullest, always cherish your friends and family and walk with your shoulders back and head high being proud of who you are. May his memory be a tremendous blessing to all who were fortunate enough to be in his inner circle. Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Chabad Columbus Cemetery in New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way, Columbus. For a zoom link email [email protected] Shiva will be observed Tuesday 5-7, Wednesday, 9-11, 5-7, Thursday, 9-11, 5-7, and Friday 9-11,3-4:30 at the home of Cindy Wolt in New Albany.

To the entire Wolt family and Weprin Family my deepest sympathies go out to you and may you all be comforted by the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Dan was a true and genuine light in our world. I was privileged to spend many great moments with Dan during my stint in Columbus Ohio in 1998-2001 and you always felt special in Dan's presence. May his memory be blessing and may we strive to exhibit and emulate his kindness for others and perpetual desire to connect and bring people close.

My deepest sympathies on this sad news. Years have passed but I remember well our years in Freehold when the boys were young.

I worked for Dan in the 1990s. He was always very kind to me even though I was just a dumb young college student. Dan even let me drive his Porsche at a company picnic which was awesome. I always liked him and I wish the very best for his family. I am truly sorry for your loss. God bless you.

I worked for Dan many moons ago. I learned more about sales from Dan than I have from anyone else in the past 30 years of my career. He was awesome at his trade and an awesome human being. Dan always had a smile on his face and was always up for a fun time. I am very sorry for the family and just know Dan had an impact on me and many people throughout his life.

I do not have a memory to share about Dan. But because I know Judith through work, and, more so, since retiring, I feel I know her family. And, I am so glad I do! My sincere condolences for your deep loss.

Judy, Ethan, Cindy, Eden, Ariela, Talya, Yosef and the rest of the Wolt family and all close to Dan. Our thoughts are with you as we are deeply saddened to hear of Dan´s passing. I will always have fond memories of time spent with Dan. Most memorable will be his sense of humor. I´ll miss talking and laughing with Danny. Much love.

I got to know this Dan and his family years ago at the baby pool. I remember the first conversation we had when he told me "I had no kids before 40 and by 41 I had 4". He then asked me how many do you have - I told him 5 and he said I know how I have 4 but you with 5.... you must be crazy! I loved his energy, spirit and honesty. Years later our kids found each other and became great friends. I am grateful for Dan for sharing Hebrew traditions and allowing my boys to attend Friday night dinners. Just a few weeks ago Dan and I talked about work, customer service and how crazy the times where to manage business. Dan was very proud of his kids and over the past few weeks I had seen him at the 7th grade basketball games cheering on the boys. He will be missed by many in NA and has left behind a legend of being kind and be yourself. Keep those sunglasses on and watch over us here on earth!
