Danielle Leigh Leyva passed away in Kingman, AZ, o September 6, 2024, at the age of 52. Danielle was born on August 19, 1972, in Fort Lewis, Washington.
Danielle spent her early years as a military "brat" living in California, Germany, and Washington State with her family, and enjoyed the numerous adventures that come with being in a military family. She graduated at Rogers High School in Puyallup, WA, in 1991 and enjoyed being with friend and family. As a young adult, she lived in Tacoma, WA and worked in service of adults with developmental disabilities. Danielle had an empathetic spirit, a compassionate heart, and was always ready to support those in need.
She married, Charles Leyva, in 1996 in Santa Ana, California, who survives her at home, in Arizona. Together, for over 20 years, they sought new adventures and established a modest life in Washington, California, Nevada, and most recently, Arizona. Danielle considered her greatest blessing to be her beloved son, Marc A. Leyva. Marc survives her in Nevada. Marc was her constant inspiration in her life and the source of her strength and being throughout the remainder of her life that was filled with chronic illnesses. Danielle's love for him and all that his future holds will continue beyond the limits of her physical presence. In 2021, Danielle graduated from the University of Phoenix, with a BA in Psychology. Cherished memories of Danielle's love of life, her family, her dogs and cats, and the promise that new adventures will bring comfort to her family as they mourn her unexpected passing.
In addition to her husband, Charles, and son Marc, Danielle is survived by her parents and stepparents: Her mother and stepfather, Jerry and Cliff Farm, in Washington; her father and stepmother, Lee E and Judy Rumley, in Arizona. She is also survived by two brothers and their spouses: Christopher and Stephanie Rumley, in Georgia, Phillip and Cecilia Rumley, in New York; her step-siblings: Paul, Jason, Christofer, and Cassie Farm, in Oregon, Dawn and Dustin, in Arizona; 8 nieces and nephews: Cheryl, Chris, Matt, Megan, Sophia, Brandon, Michaela, and Garrett Rumley; grand-nieces and nephews; Dane, Whitney, Neal, Jaycee, and Natalie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Danielle was pre-deceased by her grandparents: Gus and Lee Nichols, of Idaho, and Loretta and Lee E. Rumley Sr., of Washington; and her mother-in-law Dora Rodriguez, of California.
In accordance with Danielle's wishes, there will be no funeral services held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations are made to your local SPCA to care for an animal in need. Arrangements are in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 1701 Stockton Hill Rd, Kingman, AZ 86401.
