Danienne "Dani" Rae Johnson, 49, a cherished mother, passionate nurse, and a beacon of kindness, passed away on December 5, 2025, in
Phoenix, Arizona. Born on May 20, 1976, Danienne lived a life defined by love, resilience, and a profound dedication to both her family and her community.
Danienne was a bright and positive spirit who seldom showed anger and never allowed life's challenges to break her. No matter how many times she was knocked down, she always stood back up with a smile and a renewed determination for the future. Her laughter was contagious, her presence warm and welcoming, and she never struggled to make friends. Guided by the principles of treating others how she wished to be treated and believing deeply in karma, she carried kindness, forgiveness, and generosity into every part of her life.
Motherhood was Danienne's greatest joy. She is lovingly survived by her three children: Shae Dewey (born May 21, 1998), Shelby Johnson (born April 21, 2002), and Shandi Johnson (born February 21, 2004). She devoted her life to them, always putting their needs above her own, and instilling in them the virtues of strength, patience, compassion, and hope. Her children will forever cherish the lessons she taught and the unwavering love she gave.
Danienne's resilience extended into her education and career. After graduating high school in Arizona in 1994, she pursued her passion for helping others and earned her Master's Degree in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 2022. Her determination led her to become a Nurse Practitioner, where she touched countless lives with her intelligence, dedication, and deeply compassionate care. Her patients and colleagues alike felt the impact of her work and her heart.
Danienne is also survived by her parents, Anita and Walt Odom; her siblings, Kim Ballard, Ken Odom, and Trey Odom; and many friends, coworkers, and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by her presence. She will be remembered as smart, caring, forgiving, loving, and endlessly optimistic - a woman who encouraged others to never stop believing in themselves and in the good in the world.
Danienne's legacy is one of kindness, respect, and forgiveness. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
A service to honor and celebrate Danienne's life will be held on December 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 E Bell Rd,
