Danny Ray Blystone, 63, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2025. Born July 19, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Bill and Gertrude Lavonne Blystone.

Danny was a devoted father to Michael Wayne and Debbie Michell Blystone and a proud grandfather to Ethan Michael Blystone, Kaitlyn Maurine Jordan, and Jayden Alexander Lopez-Vazquez, cherishing time spent fishing, playing pool, or gathered by a campfire with music.

A skilled master carpenter and jack of all trades, Danny was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. He enjoyed working on motorcycles and spending time outdoors, reflecting his adventurous spirit.

Danny was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Blystone; his mother, Gertrude Blystone; and brothers Billy Wayne and Earl Blystone. He is survived by his father, Bill Blystone; daughter, Debbie Blystone; son-in-law, Jason Russell Jordan; his grandchildren, Ethan Blystone, Kaitlyn Jordan, Jayden Lopez-Vazquez; and brothers, Alvin and Gerald Blystone; along with extended family and friends who will hold his memory dear.

Visitation will be held at Chism-Smith Funeral Home in Irving on October 8, 2025, from 5–7 PM. The funeral service will follow on October 10 at 10:30 AM, with burial at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas at 12:30 PM.

Danny’s light and love will continue to shine through all who knew him. Rest in peace Danny.
