Danny Dale Doré, age 75 passed away on August 18, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1949, in Arnaudville, LA., but lived most of his life in St. Martinville, LA.
In high school he tried out for the basketball team and in spite of being visually impaired he learned that he was pretty good at it and enjoyed the sport very much. Later in life, he also tried his hand at playing pool and won a few tournaments along the way.
After high school he attended McNeese State College for two years and later moved to California with his family. The oilfield industry was his main occupation for many years and as he got older, he was succumbed to his failing vision and was unable to work.
Danny is survived by his three sons; Jamie (Brooke) Hebert, Miles (Crystal) Doré, and Danna (Allie) Doré; one daughter Daily Doré; nine grandchildren, Lauren H. Capdepon, Caleb Hebert, Faith Hebert, Grayson Hebert, Caleb Doré, Courtney Doré, Devin Doré, Demi Doré and Dax Doré; sisters, Julie D. (Tommy) Angelle, Ethel Doré; one brother Ricky (Angie) Doré; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores L. Dore'; parents Ames and Rena G. Doré; and sister Phyllis D. Theriot.
The Doré family would like to thank the medical staff at Ochsner's Hospital in Breaux Bridge and Ochsner's Hospital in Lafayette for the great care Danny received.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory in Broussard, LA.
