On January 22, 2025 Danny Gee peacefully passed from this life into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will miss him so much but rejoice that he is no longer in pain or suffering. He was the best husband and father anyone could imagine.
Danny was born on October 28, 1936 in Sanger, California. He lived his entire life in the Sanger community where he graduated from Sanger High School in 1955. He married Charlotte Cornelius on December 15, 1956 and raised three daughters in the love and admonition of the Lord. He worked as truck driver for many years and as a machinist for his brother Leon for several years before he retired. After retiring, Danny and his wife Charlotte traveled the US for 17 years enjoying God's beautiful creation.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents Reverend Leslie and Letha Gee, his brothers Minor, William, and Thomas, his sister Vonda, great grandson Cameron, and sons-in-law Samuel Tull and Mark Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Gee, his three daughters Danette Tull, Micki Rodriguez, Kristi Price and her husband Bryan, his brothers Leon and David, his sister Ramona Hogner, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Danny was faithful to attend church and teach his family in the ways of the Lord. Music, especially Gospel, was heard wherever he went. The family would harmonize around the piano at home. They sang around campfires, in the car while traveling, and at gatherings with family and friends. He sang with the Ray Cooper Trio for many years, lead musical ensembles and sang with the church choir.
He has joined the other members of the Ray Cooper Trio, as well as many friends and family members who welcomed him on the far side banks of Jordan. We look forward to seeing him again on the other side.
