Danny Lachenmeier, was 73 year old when he passed away of a heart attack on April 5th, 2025.
Danny was born in Portland, Oregon on January 21,1952, to Emil and Grace Lachenmeier.
He graduated from Benson High School in 1970. He worked his entire life at Multi-Craft Plastics in Portland, for a total of 52 years. He retired in 2022. He was a proud and dedicated man who worked hard in manufacturing, shipping or deliveries. He cared about his co-workers and helped when it was needed. During events at the Moda Center he also parked cars in the company parking lot. Danny had regular and loyal customers that he reserved parking spots for and became friends with during seasonal events for years.
Danny met the love of his life, Paula Marbach, and they married in 1997. Together they raised three grandchildren. Family road trips, beach getaways, summer vacations, and ice cream stops were all a joy for Danny. He loved his family very much.
Danny is survived by his wife Paula Lachenmeier, grandchildren Jessie, Samantha, and Terry, 4 great children, his brother Dick Lachenmeier and his sister Peggy Martin. Plus many nieces and nephews.

Please accept my deepest condolences. Danny will forever be in my heart and memories. Our family experienced so much joy with Danny and the entire Lachenmeier family......camping, clamming, bowling, dinners and much more. Thank you, Danny!

Very sorry for your loss. My fondest memory of Danny was camping at Frog Lake. We went on the lake with my rubber raft, just having fun. Camping was a major part of our lives back then.
I´ll always treasure my memories with Danny.
