Danny Lee Mashburn

Danny Lee Mashburn, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Austell, Georgia, on October 29, 1953, Danny was the son of the late Fred Martin Mashburn and Julia Elizabeth Lang. He spent many dedicated years working for the City of Eton as a dump truck driver, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.
Danny had a deep love for baseball, especially cheering on his beloved Atlanta Braves. He also found joy in music and was a talented guitar player who often shared his passion with those around him.
He is survived by his nephews Allen Payne (and fiancée Jannie McMillin), Ronnie Joe Payne, and Dennis Mashburn; his niece Tanya Payne; and his brothers Terry Mashburn and Dennis Mashburn.
In keeping with Danny's wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
Danny will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of music and sport, and the simple joys he embraced throughout his life.
