Mr. Mashburn was born February 3, 1937 in Fannin County, Georgia to Mr. Everett Monroe Mashburn and Mrs. Josie Mazie Davenport Mashburn. He is married to Mrs. Nancy Crowe Mashburn. He worked as a Union Representative for Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by: Son, Mr. Ellard Gregory Mashburn; Great Grandson, Justin Amos; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Monroe (Josie Mazie Davenport) Mashburn; Brother, Mr. John Mashburn, Mr. Bill Mashburn, Mr. Charles Mashburn, Sr., Mr. Clarence Mashburn, Mr. Jerry Mashburn; Sister, Ms. Joyce Mashburn, Mrs. Margie Beaver and Mrs. Rachel Tomlin.
Survivors include: Wife, Mrs. Nancy Crowe Mashburn; Children, Ms. Cheryl Ann Lones, Mrs. Mirenda Skelton (Scott), Mrs. Leindy Godfrey (Chuck), and Mr. Larry Barge (Katie E. Cross); Grandchildren, Mrs. Misty Windom Cozino (Chance), Mrs. Jennifer McCoy (Shane), Mr. Brandon Mashburn (Jamie), Tyeler Skelton (Catelyn), Alexis DeThomas (Matt), Chander Skelton, Caeden Skelton, Lucy Brooks (Hunter), Charlie Godfrey, Lily Godfrey and Jeanelen Hipple; Great Grandchildren, Emily Denney, Ivy Denney, Audrey Toone, Jacob Windom, Harleigh Mashburn, Cason Skelton, Jackson DeThomas and Liddie Marie Fullerton; Brothers, Mr. Mark Mashburn (Helen) and Mr. Ben Mashburn (Carmen; Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ellard Mashburn will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, 7:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home and Saturday, June 7, 2025, 1:00 P.M. at Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. He will lie in state from 12:30 - 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2025, 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
