Danny Charles McCann, age 70, departed this life on October 11, 2025, at the Methodist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 12, 1955, to his parents Arthur and Lona McCann. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Danny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and special friend to all that knew him. He was a very proud Christian man and was a member of the Black Creek Crossroads Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several other loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda McCann; Daughters: Tessa Buttram and husband Dave, Tasha McCann, Tracie McCann, and Danielle Foster; Grandchildren: Abby Jeffers and husband Connor, Gracey, Dani, and Bryson Frazier, Maci Harness, Abram Buttram, Zoie and Jameson Cross; Brother: Earl McCann and wife Linda; Sister: Goldie Mills; many other special family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Black Creek Crossroads Baptist Church from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Jerry Byrge officiating. Music will be provided by Black Creek Crossroads Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post# 136.
Pallbearers will be Dave Buttram, Billy McCann, William Lawson, Craig Martin, Bryson Frazier, and James Bowling. Honorary Pallbearers will be Conner Jeffers, Brextyn Williams, and Rylan Crabtree.
