Danny McGeehan

Daniel Matthew McGeehan, Jr., 82, of North Cape May, NJ passed away peacefully on February 20th. Danny is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen (Breslin), and his three children and their families, Tricia McKelvey, her husband Rob and their children Michael, Jimmy and Danny; Carole Anne Johnson and her husband Jim; and Matt McGeehan, his wife Toni and their daughter Caitlin. Danny is predeceased by his parents Daniel McGeehan Sr. and Eleanor (Whelan) McGeehan of Abington, PA. Danny was a proud 1962 alum of Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote, PA and started his career with the US Postal Service in the Northeast Philadelphia neighborhoods where he grew up. Moving to the shore where he was a 50-year resident of North Cape May, Danny became an active member of St Raymond's Church in the Villas, leading the parish council, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and becoming a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Saint Raymond's Church on Bayshore Road in the Villas. Friends will be received from 10 am prior to Mass at 11 am. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Cape May.
