Danny R. Shealor

Danny Shealor, 64, of Bowling Green, MO, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 in Louisiana, MO. The family will be having a Celebration of Life from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 23rd at Lakeview at the Broken P near Bowling Green, MO.

Danny was born on December 22, 1960 in Louisiana, MO to Garland Shealor and Pauline Lawson Shealor. He was a graduate of Louisiana High School with the Class of 1978 and had lived in several places in his life including state of Texas, Louisiana, MO, and Clarksville, MO.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Welch Shealor, a son Jonathan Shealor (Ashley) of Clarksville, MO, 3 daughters Lakin Shealor of Bowling Green, MO, Hannah Ellsworth of Bowling Green, MO, and Whitney Shealor of Wellsville, MO, 12 grandchildren, a brother Paul Shealor of Texas, 5 sisters Sandy Shealor of Bowling Green, MO, Sharon Hickerson of Quincy, IL, Pat Voepel of Philadelphia, MO, Liz Shealor of Barry, IL, and Anna Mae Rawling of Camdenton, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

He worked as a carpenter and handyman and was good at doing many other things. He loved spending time with his grandkids, riding his bike, and being outdoors. He was very creative, good at writing, and was considered a jack of all trades. He will be remembered as the best Papa around. Danny had the kindest heart always putting others before his self. Danny may have been small, but he sure was dynamite.
