Danny Duane Sutton

Danny Duane Sutton, age 72, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his home.
Danny worked as a carpenter for most of his life. He belonged to the carpenters union. He not only did that as a career, but as a hobby too. During his free time, he would build birdhouses, furniture, remodel, and refinish cabinets. After retiring from the carpenters union, he went to work for Accuride for almost 20 years. Danny loved the Lord, he attended Hyland Baptist Church for many years before transitioning to Catholicism. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where he worshipped for the last 15 years. Danny loved to play and watch baseball. His favorite team by far was the St. Louis Cardinals. Danny was also known to root for the Wildcats on occasion (the occasion being every time they played). He considered himself their #1 fan. Danny's greatest love by far was his family. The memories he made with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will last their lifetime.
In addition to his parents, George and Betty Sutton, Danny was preceded in death by his sisters Betty Mitchell and Tonya Lawson.
Danny is survived by his wife of 44 years Debra Sutton of Henderson, KY; daughter Misty Matteson of Henderson, KY; sisters Yolanda Morris and Lawanna West both of Henderson, KY; brother George Sutton, Jr. of Henderson, KY; grandchildren Cassie Pitsonbarger and Kendall Pearson; and great-grandchildren: Ally, Mia, Duane, Mario, and Malaya.
