Gary Decker Obituary
Gary was a 1979 graduate of Henderson County High School. He worked for Walts Trucking Company in Evansville, IN for several years. He was a member of the Morganfield Eagles Lodge where he served as trustee and a member of Kingdom Church in Spring Grove, KY. Gary was an avid motorcyclist and worshiped his grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Elvie and Sharon Decker and his sister Lori Jean Decker.
Gary is survived by his wife Barbara Alvey Decker of Pride, KY; daughter Melissa Haire of Henderson, KY; sons Jonathan Decker (Stephanie) of Henderson, KY and Travis Walker of Henderson, KY; brother Robert Keith Decker of Shawneetown, IL; 4 grandchildren, and 1 nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gary's Life Celebration from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Trent Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
