Danny Jay Watson, 56, Lafayette, IN., originally from Logansport passed away Monday morning January 20, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1968 to Everon Watson and Peggy Hatch.
Danny was a kindhearted man with an internal strength that saw him through a courageous battle against an autoimmune disease. Each day, he faced his challenges with quiet resilience. Danny had a unique ability to make anyone laugh and spent his spare time developing TikTok videos, sharing his knowledge and thoughts with the world. As the only boy among four siblings, he filled our lives with adventure and joy, continually surprising us and keeping his mom on her toes. He was truly loved by all of us and will be missed immensely. We celebrate his return to Jesus Christ and find comfort in knowing that we will meet again.
Survivors include his mother, Peggy Hatch, sisters, Jody Harris, Michelle Feltis of Logansport, IN. and Faith Staut of Knoxville, TN. Children, Derreck Watson, Matthew Watson and Alex Watson who reside in the Chicago region. Danny is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 East Market Street, Logansport, Indiana. Pastor Richard Conrad will be officiating.
Visitation will start at 11AM with service beginning at 1PM. Afterward the burial will be at Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville IN.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for Donation to help support Danny’s memorial wishes.
