With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather.
Danny Lee Watts passed away on February 7, 2025, at Baylor of Grapevine in Grapevine, Texas.
Danny was born at the Army Base in Seattle, Washington, on October 12, 1954. He grew up in Harrison, playing football, basketball and baseball at Harrison High School. Danny was an excellent bowler and eventually was recognized for scoring a 298. He moved to Texas in 1979 for work, laying rock. He went on to work for UPS for 21 years and retired in Grapevine, Texas near Grapevine Lake. Danny had a passion for fishing and found peace by the water. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Phillip D. Watts. He is survived by his mother, Sue Watts; sister, Pam; son, Tra; niece; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the VFW in Grapevine, Texas. A service in Harrison will be held at a later date.
