Daphney Teele Obituary
She was a very active member of Bethlehem Christian Church and sang in the church choir. Everyone that knew her knew she loved clothes, fashion, and shopping. She was a classy lady and passed that on to others with her own etiquette classes. Daphney was a big part of the Miss Suffolk pageants and even modeled for clothing stores.
Daphney is survived by her son, Christopher Mark Teele (Christine), brother in law, Steve Teele (Martha), and niece, Lisa Floyd (Keith).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Bethlehem Christian Church with Rev. Rob Slingluff officiating. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial is to follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery and a reception will be held back at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family.
